Abstract

|
We report a case of Henoch-Schonlein purpura that was complicated with an acute perforating appendicitis probably secondary to necrotizing vasculitis involving the appendiceal wall.
We stressed the point that acute appendicitis and peritonitis should be considered when the abdominal pain became intractable in the course of Henoch-Schonlein purpura.
